My exit strategy for this particular business is pretty effortless. My business will not be worth much, as it is composed of little equipment and one employee (me). I likely don't technically count as an employee. If things go my way and this studio gains customers and capital, my exit plan may be a sale. That is, this business would grow to have its own building, multiple sound engineers, and a reputation powerful enough to charge customers a reasonable price to sustain business. If this ever were the case, I couldn't see myself ever realistically leaving the business. This is something I have fantasized about for a long time, and I never seem to get enough of music production.

My exit strategy for the current business, which would simply be myself no longer producing music for money, is chosen because there is no worth in my business. I do not have a team, large amounts of equipment, or a large reputation.

This probably causes my work ethic to decrease. After all, I don't have much to lose. I am not in debt because I took out no loans, and I do not have co-workers counting on me to keep anything running. It is just me, in my free time, sharing my skill at a cheap price with those who may benefit from it. Maybe if I thought of this more as a business with high-stakes, my work ethic would dramatically increase.
