My existing venture is for a low-budget recording studio. This business is definitely something I only want to do temporarily. It will end up costing me lots and lots of time. I want to do things this way in order to make a few good mixes, get music out into the public, and build a reputation to further develop myself as a producer and then move on to better ventures.

A possible future venture I see myself doing is designing plugins. It is possible to create packages that consist of multiple plugin effects, creating an easy one-shot method of editing vocals or instruments to have certain sound qualities. This is good for the market of at-home producers.

Another possible venture is a true production studio, with a sound-treated space to record a wide array of instruments and vocalists for a price point more congruent with other recording studios. This is very situational, and will only "happen if it happens", but if things go well for me that will be my next step.

  1. In regards about another possible venture, would you still try to locate in the same place? I feel like this whole other venture you who have to move to another location to attract the more high end clients. This would be super neat to think about as I feel like this is the goal of any music producer to make it big in the music world.
