Description of Story: A man crashed into a deputy's SUV with a stolen car, then fled the scene.
Description of Problem: One problem is that the man now has charges such as grand theft auto, and will be detained and tried. Another issue is that the person whose car he stole no longer has a car. Lastly, the deputies are now missing a vehicle.
Who has the problem?: The man who crashed the car, the deputy, and the victim of the car theft.

Third protest at Lowell C.I. follows arrest of guard
Description of Story: Lowell women's correctional institution has a reputation for abusing its inmates with severe physical violence, and now poisoning as one of the guards put bleach in an inmate's drink. This lead to a mass protest of ex-prisoners trying to speak out.
Description of Problem: Prison guards at this institution clearly have a tendency to abuse the inmates, which is a problem in itself. Inmates have been paralyzed, had bones broken, etc. And the guards rarely are held accountable.
Who has the problem?: People serving time in Lowell correctional facility, the prison guards, and the prison management team itself.
Headline: UF Student Falls From Parking Garage, In Critical Condition
Description of Story: A UF Student fell from a downtown parking garage on campus and is now in the hospital gradually recovering from severe brain damage as well as broken bones.
Description of Problem: A UF student has to drop his classes, pay medical bills, and may not be able to have a life anywhere near what it would have been had he not fallen. This is also a problem for UF as their parking garages pose safety risks.
Who has the problem?: The University student, Mitchell Capps, his family, and UF.
Headline: Doctoral Student Demands Response to UF Sexual Assault Cases on Website
Description of Story: UF Student Andrew Cistola demands that UF address two cases of sexual misconduct that were supposedly handled inappropriately.
Description of Problem: UF has a very strict sexual harassment policy, and its failure to implement that puts students and faculty at risk. It also is more bad rap for UF.
Who has the problem?: The University Of Florida overall, as well as its students and some faculty.
Headline: Why Gainesville Faces Some Of The Highest Utility Rates In The State
Description of Story: Many people are upset with GRU for their increasingly high utility rates.
Description of Problem: GRU claims that the absence of UF and many other places using GRU electricity, as well as so many churches qualifying for tax exemptions, has caused the rates to be so high.
Who has the problem?: Civillians who can not afford to run their air conditioner in the summer or heat in the winter.
